The preparation of documentation either for LCL or FCL is one of the most significant elements in the approach of custom clearance for personal effect. This process largely determines the success of every single clearance. To better prepare for clearance and AQIS inspection, below documents need to be submitted to Customs by personal effect importers.

- Outlines the items including description & quantity.
- States how long the goods has been owned and used
